From Strathaven:

Leave Strathaven on the B7086 Lesmahagow Road.

After approximately 2.9 miles (pass Sandford), turn right (South) onto side road. Please note there is a 15 m.p.h. speed limit on this road.

Journey for 1.8 miles, passing the farmsteads of Yardbent and Little Kype West. At Hareshawhead turn sharp left. Continue for 0.6 miles, until you reach the Kype Angling Club Car Park, located on the right.

From Kirkmuirhill:

Leave Kirkmuirhill on the B7086 Lesmahagow Road.

After approximately 3.6 miles (pass Boghead, Kypeside Fishery, Deadwaters), turn left (South) onto side road. Please note there is a 15 m.p.h. speed limit on this road.

Journey for 1.8 miles, passing the farmsteads of Yardbent and Little Kype West. At Hareshawhead turn sharp left. Continue for 0.6 miles, until you reach the Kype Angling Club Car Park, located on the right.
